E-Course Spotlight: The Lady’s Mirror by Avalon Calling

For the past 7 years, I've been helping holistic wellness practitioners and conscious entrepreneurs create content that's a reflection of their essence. I'll be sharing those creations on this platform as a way to amplify the voices and products that are providing integral healing to the world.

‍Introducing: Annah Taylor

I was first connected to Annah Taylor, Founder of Avalon Calling back in November of 2021. She reached out to me through a previous client, Lisa Levitt Gainsley, Founder of The Lymphatic Message and the wildly successful e-course that we created together, The Lymphatic Masterclass. It was an auspicious time for me as I had been on a 3-week nomadic journey driving up the California coast for clarity and guidance. From the first video call in the seat of my car in a Target parking lot (the only place I could find good service) I knew we would have a beautiful partnership. We bonded over our appreciation for following our intuition, the healing powers of the oceans and waters, and taking a flow-y approach to our creative journey for her e-course creation. Annah is a Priestess of Avalon, author, and spiritual healer. Working with her completely changed my life and I truly feel was the initiation to where I am today. Here's the story.

Let's Break it Down: Priestess Path, Priestess of Avalon, and The Lady of Avalon

If you are anything like me, the Priestess Path is a new term that I was unfamiliar with, and that's a lot coming from the holistic wellness world. Let's break a few key words down before moving forward. "A Priestess is a woman who lives life in service to the sacred feminine, acting as a vessel for the energies of Goddess to flow into her community. She is a bridge between worlds, helping others open to and experience the realms of the unseen. She offers ceremonies for rites of passage and holy days, practices divination, and offers spiritual support and guidance. She is attuned to the rhythms and cycles of nature, at one with the elements, and receptive to messages from Mother Earth and all her creatures. She interprets life through symbols, archetypes, and metaphors," an excerpt from Annah's book, Lady of the Lake, Rise.

There are priestess' that reside in different places of the world. Here's another excerpt from the book: "A Priestess of Avalon specifically works with the energies, landscape, and mysteries of the ancient Isle of Avalon, which is modern-day Glastonbury, UK. This sacred landscape is known as the “heart chakra of the earth.” Avalon is known for catalyzing profound transformation in the lives of those who love Her. While the land resonates with a magnificent heart field, one must enter through the shadow of the heart, coming directly into contact with disowned grief, despair, shame, self-pity, anger, rage, resentment, hatred, disempowerment, all the feelings that most people would prefer to keep hidden." It's a beautiful journey to exploring the full feminine healing journey.

The Lady of Avalon was another term I was unfamiliar with, Annah's book explains it beautifully. "In my experience, the Lady of the Lake is the collective consciousness of all Priestess teachers who once served on the Isle of Avalon, keeping the mysteries and passing them down. The Lady of Avalon is the Goddess of the Isle of Avalon, whose spirit dwells there in the landscape."

Little did I know, I was embarking on a deep dive into healing my feminine. A place I have never explored until now... and that's really the beauty of being the creator and facilitator of ōSHen for those 7 years, I was able to experience new elements of myself and my healing through the healers and creations we brought forth into the world.

‍Glastonbury & My Experience of The Lady's Mirror

Part of the e-course creation process is filming and creating the incredible content that will be consumed by the students and audience. I was fortunate to be able to fly to Glastonbury, UK for 7 days and create the content with Annah on the sacred ground of the Chalice Well. It was really powerful to be on those lands. I was sitting on top of the grass area next to the Tor on the Spring Equinox and tears filled my eyes and I was emotional. I had no idea why and still to this day, I never questioned it. This would be my first of many profound experiences and remembrance's on this trip.

The course we created was called The Lady's Mirror. Avalon is considered a mirror "showing us our shadows, helps us retrieve and heal the lost or disowned aspects of ourselves. Within Avalon, there are many dimensions and realms of experience." We created a course to help women on the their feminine healing journey to meet all aspects of themselves to heal and become a more embodied and sovereign version of self. The work is very sacred and it takes a very special person to guide you on this path. I was honored to learn from Annah and to have my initiation into my feminine journey started with her and this course.

It's lead me to embracing my inner oceanic goddess, my call to be my the seaside, my desire to be in a healthy partnership, to live my life according to my own terms, and a beautiful activation for embracing my inner feminine.
